Air Shower – is a self-contained enclosure that uses high-velocity jets of HEPA-filtered air to help decontaminate personnel and equipment before entering or exiting a controlled environment. The inside of the air shower is lined with multiple evenly distributed nozzles, pointed at various angles to optimize the air scrubbing process. The nozzles shoot concentrated streams of class 100 micro-filtered air to shake off and wash away loose particles and other contaminants clinging to the surface of personnel or equipment.

The Pious Cleanzone Elite Air Shower Operates on the principle of utilizing high-velocity jets of HEPA-filtered air within a self-contained enclosure, equipped with precision nozzles strategically aimed at various angles. These concentrated streams of class 100 micro-filtered air effectively dislodge and wash away loose particles and contaminants clinging to personnel or equipment, ensuring a thorough decontamination process before entering or exiting a controlled environment, enabling individuals to step into a state of pristine cleanliness with unwavering confidence.

High-velocity air jets: High-velocity shower jets running at 18-30 m/s to ensure efficient scrubbing action to remove particulate matter

Adjustable Stainless Steel Air Shower nozzles: Stainless steel air shower nozzles withstand frequent sterilizing and minimize particle shedding. The recessed design provides more clearance inside the air shower and protects the nozzle from collisions. Protruding design has a smaller footprint and greater adjustability.

Programmable operation: Operating modes can be programmed in the field.

Advance control system: Supervises all functions for seamless operation.

H14 filtration: The typical efficiency of the H14 filter is 99.999% at 0.3 micron particles.

Pre-filtration: Pre –Filter EU 5 Grade, with an efficiency of 95% down to 5 microns at return air. These air filters are made from High-Density Polyurethane Mesh (HDPM) and are inherently washable.

Emergency Stop: Three emergency stop button is mounted on Two both sides of the shower​​​​​ and a third one is inside the shower.

Indicator lights to signal door status: Indicator lights are mounted on both sides of the exterior of the air shower to regulate traffic flow, in and out of the cleanroom.

Durable doors: SS door with Toughened Glass windows to permit visibility, SS Hinged & SS Handle with Interlocks.

SS construction: The air shower is constructed of Stainless steel 304 construction.

Illumination: LED Light for Better Visibility and Eco-friend.

The cleanroom's air shower system plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness by effectively removing surface-deposited particles from personnel before they enter. HEPA-filtered air, boasting a remarkable efficiency of 99.999% at 0.3 microns, cascades over individuals, dislodging loose particles that may have accumulated on their garments. To ensure utmost protection against cross-contamination, an electromagnetic interlock system prevents doors from opening until the air shower cycle is completed. Furthermore, door locks are equipped to automatically release in the event of a power outage or if an Emergency Exit button is pressed. For added flexibility and customization, both shower time and door interlock duration can be easily programmed according to specific requirements. Additionally, the air nozzles within the system are adjustable, allowing for precise redirection of air streams to further optimize particle removal efficiency.

One-Way (Left Illustration): Personnel may enter the controlled environment but not exit through the air shower. At the idle state, the clean side door is locked while the grey side is unlocked. This mode of operation is useful for controlling traffic patterns in and out of the controlled environment.

Two-Way One-Way (Middle Illustration): Personnel may enter or exit the controlled environment through the air shower. The air shower program is able to detect if the person is entering or exiting the controlled environment via door sensors and a time-sequenced control.

Two-Way (Right Illustration): Personnel may enter or exit the controlled environment through the air shower. In both directions, the air shower is activated. This mode of operation is useful in pharmaceutical and lab animal research applications to prevent the egress of hazardous substances and allergens from the controlled environment.​​​

ULPA Filters: Upgrading to ultra-low penetration air (ULPA) filters can improve the air purification capabilities of the air shower.
Touchless Entry System: Implementing a touchless entry system, such as infrared sensors or RFID technology, can enhance convenience and minimize the risk of contamination.
